I use such config for xterm: ❯ cat ~/.Xresources | grep -i xterm XTerm*locale: true XTerm*metaSendsEscape: true XTerm*rightScrollBar: true *XTerm*VT100*faceName: -microsoft-consolas-bold-r-normal-*-17-120-100-100-m-0-koi8-ru *XTerm*faceSize: 12 *XTerm*VT100*translations: #override \n\ XTerm*pointerShape: xterm XTerm*saveLines: 1000 After update of fontconfig: > upgraded fontconfig (2:2.13.94-1 -> 2:2.13.96-1), xterm can not use consolas font (some unicode characters replaced by empty space). After downgrade: > sudo pacman -U fontconfig-2\:2.13.94-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst All works again just fine. xfontsel/xlsfonts show the selected fontconfig in both cases. |
