Details

Openmw trunk versions get stuck on menu screen at runtime when built against ffmpeg 5 .

I found a workaround to build against the legacy ffmpeg4.4, see https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/issues/6631


Note that I haven't tested openmw 0.47but according to https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/issues/6634 openmw 0.47-3 has the same issue.

Please check openmw-0.47.0-4. It should be happy again.

Starting a new character (or setting options) now works again with openmw 0.47.0-4

I don't have 0.47 compatible savegames around, so can't test with exisiting savegames.
