Just to keep the thing alive and eventually mark it as closed:

These are warnings, and should not affect the launcher at the moment. Launching with -r seems to work almost from everyone. I'd like to hear from Vovan, who reported the bug, if he still has the problem.

A second thought about -r: this options connects to an already running instance of gqview, but what if we want to open a new one? That's what system menus are for, I think. I know that -r is inserted upstream, but do we want it? I'm for removing it.
