DetailsDescription:
After installing pipewire 1:0.3.45-1 [and associated pipewire-alsa and pipewire-pulse], sound breaks when it was working fine with the previous release [pipewire 1:0.3.44-1, which works fine after a manual downgrade]. Additional info: I don't have a lot of debug info but journalctl showed me these errors: pipewire-media-session[2298]: ms.mod.policy-node: 0x55da91854b70: no node found for 36, stream error pipewire-pulse[2299]: mod.protocol-pulse: client 0x562371741a00 [C* Music Player]: ERROR command:-1 (invalid) tag:3 error:25 (Input/output error) C*mus claims there is an "internal error" and sound does not work on any other application (e.g. firefox, mpv video player) either. Steps to reproduce: Install the newest pipewire and associated packages from Arch repos. Try to run sound after restarting the pipewire daemon and there is an error. |

Reason for closing: Upstream
Additional comments about closing: user:I did more testing and the new pipewire works with the vanilla Arch kernels [I use a different kernel that somehow breaks with 0.3.45 but not 0.3.44] so I'm requesting to close the bug.
