Details

When download xf86-video-ati-6.6.192-2.pkg.tar.gz with pacman it reports

error: failed to commit transaction (corrupted package)
archive xf86-video-ati-6.6.192-2.pkg.tar.gz was corrupted (bad MD5 or SHA1 checksum)

If it is something usual, I am sorry, I am a new user of Arch

Works here.
Try to remove /var/cache/pacman/pkg/xf86-video-ati-6.6.192-2.pkg.tar.gz and do pacman -Syu again.
If that doesn't help - try another mirror.
