There will be no content under Password Store even though there is a password saved

I just don't know what's wrong. I type 'pass' and nothing populates on the command line even though I have passwords saved with pass. I'm not sure how much more crystal clear that description can be. Every guide I've read says that it should list the passwords located in $HOME/.password-store
