Detailstesting/xorg-server 1.3.0.0-1 won't work with nvida drivers without /etc/X11/xorg.conf
startx looks for nv and cannot find it. If I install xf86-video-nv it will work without xorg.conf, but then nvidia won't work. |

xorg searches for the drivers it knows, which is nv on an nvidia card. Running without xorg.conf is not something that needs to work, when things are not autodetected "correctly" you will have to make adjustments to xorg to get it to run.

OK - then it is quite useless, if it is not possible to make it find one of the most common drivers.
