DetailsDescription:
I tried to detach an external hard drive using this command: ``` sudo udisks --detach /dev/sdc ``` I got this error message: ``` Detach failed: Error detaching: helper exited with exit code 127: udisks-helper-drive-detach: error while loading shared libraries: libsgutils2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ``` It seems that this library has been renamed at some point, and this package hasn't been updated. As a workaround, I created a symlink to the library's new name: ``` cd /usr/lib ln -s libsgutils2-1.47.so.2.0.0 libsgutils2.so.2 ``` Afterwards, the udisks --detach command worked without problems. I have udisks2 version 2.9.4-1 and sg3_utils version 1.47-1. |
