Detailsdarktable now uses Lua 5.4 (https://www.darktable.org/2021/12/darktable-3.8.0-released/), but the package still depends on lua53. The current package darktable 2:3.8.0-1 does not seem to support Lua at all, there are no Lua-specific options anywhere in the GUI and Lua scripts do not get executed on startup.
