Can confirm this broke my install, no prompt to enter luks password is shown.
mkinitcpio hooks used:
base systemd keyboard sd-vconsole autodetect modconf block sd-encrypt filesystems fsck

(think this needs a higher priority)

I can confirm this. Applying the fix manually and rebuilding the initramfs solves the issue on my machine.

Applying the patch fixed my problem too.

(FWIW I also think this needs a higher priority)
