The core package [shadow 4.8.1-4](https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/shadow/) is flagged as out-of-date on 2021-07-23 (ca 5 months ago). There is a new version 4.9 released on 2021-07-23: https://github.com/shadow-maint/shadow/releases Additional info: * The upstream repo contains some bug-fixes that solve: #70768 (security - high) * shadow v4.9 seems to be required for other packages to work correctly, e.g.: [podman](https://github.com/containers/podman/discussions/11217?sort=new#discussioncomment-1165238) Side note: I couldn't find any button or email to notify the maintainers to ask for a version upgrade... so this task should do the job. ;) |
