DetailsDescription:
The arch package for Kibana is completely broken. The service will start but the application will not load as the service is unable to serve the resource at '/api/core/capabilities' Additional info: See the discussion thread I created on the ElasticSearch forum -- https://discuss.elastic.co/t/kibana-networkerror-while-trying-to-access-api-core-capabiities/289408 Note the logstash and elasticsearch arch packages work as expected Steps to reproduce: Install the Kibana package and try to access the application Suggestion: Simply repackage/redistribute the official deb package -- this was the solution to my problem |

Also, as I said in a past mail [0], I'm not updating kibana to a newer version due to the license change. Till the end of the year I'll have opensearch and opensearch-dashboards ready, which will provide an alternative under the Apache license. Kibana and Elasticsearch will be updated then.
