Possible duplicate of https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/62457?

@AndreasS is wine 8.0-2 any better?

Just tested with wine-staging 8.0.2 but lib32-libcups still does not get installed as dependency. The result of the above given test case is unchanged.

@AndreasS, could you please check with wine 8.9?

There have been many printing related fixes since 8.0.

And there is a major improvement in 8.9: the PostScript driver is also implemented as PE binaries, i.e. Windows-native executables.

I'm waiting for the new version to arrive in the repos.

Wine 8.9 is available in Arch extra repo. You can install that package directly even in other Arch-bases distros.

In package wine 8.9-1, libcups and lib32-libcups are in makedepends.

But lib32-libcups is not in depends/optdepends. Only cups (64-bit) is in optdepends.

I think the lib32 counterpart should also be added to optdepends at the least.

It's a shame, lib32-libcups could have been added as optdepend
to the just-uploaded wine-8.10-1 and wine-staging-8.10-1 packages.

Maybe with a description: needed for printing.

Just tested with 8.11-1 direct download from arch. Still the same.
