Details

Description:

On version 3.25-1 in community and 3.25-2 in community testing there is a blank line at the top of the /usr/bin/svm-grid.py file that causes the default shell (bash in my case) to attempt to execute the python code.

The shebang for #!/usr/bin/env python is on line 2.
Deleting the blank line allows the code to run correctly.

I could not find any bugs about this already reported and verified the bug is not upstream.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Steps to reproduce:

Install community/libsvm.
Try to use svm-grid.py or svm-easy.py (which calls grid.py). Errors ensue.

This blank line was added by accident when I updated the patches for the 3.25 upgrade:

https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-community/commit/dcb7a4afc97c4ef4306282af14b008eba4c46cb7#diff-05e35cd1e2bf584eddeb79d757fa7793db3a6f7af411ef59021bab6a5ba00a78R21

Now fixed. Thanks for reporting.
