When unloading the ndiswrapper module it show's an "Segmentation Fault" as far from that the device works properly.
The module still appears in the lsmod but the device doesn't appear in iwconfig. The system keeps running but a reboot is needed to put the module working again.

My HW is a broadcom 4318:
08:04.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)

In attach is the dmesg output.

Ok, unloading it doesn't always make sense. Plus. why not use bcm43xx?
Comment by João Rodrigues (gothicknight) - Tuesday, 29 May 2007, 19:43 GMT

Last time I've used bcm43xx it failed on me till the end of my patience, ndiswrapper always made everything work so I've been using it from quite some time.

The unloading part is just a warning, I almost never unload the module but it would be wise to fix this :)

OK, this can be closed as the newer version doesn't have this error.
