I tried to check the new feature so checked the box that says "Use crossfading backend (requires restart)". After that I set the duration to 2,05. I checked crossfading between songs on the same album and lastly I tried almost every buffer size I could to test the bug if it's related with it.

Rhythmbox plays well with normal mp3 files but it starts to suck with MP4 files. It uses a lot of CPU and the music playing starts to freeze..

I downgraded rhythmbox to 0.10.1, as 0.10.90 was a prerelease for 0.11.0, which is a development version. Does 0.10.1 have this feature, and if so, does it work?

0.10.0-2 doesn't have that feature.. I'm currently using the downgraded version of Rhythmbox which is 0.10.0-2
