DetailsDescription:
After upgrading to 5.15.5-arch1-1 kernel, I lost ability to use 4k resolution on my external display. In my setup, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X280 with Thunderbolt 3 docking station where I have Samsung U28E590 connected over DisplayPort. I'm using Gnome with Wayland session. When looking at the logs with journalctl, nothing jumped out, but I'm not really sure what should I be looking for. Let me know if I can provide additional information. Additional info: * linux-5.15.5.arch1-1 Steps to reproduce: - install linux-5.15.5.arch1-1 - reboot - no 4k resolution available when using Gnome Display Settings - downgrade kernel to linux-5.15.4.arch1-1 - reboot - 4k resolution is available as expected |
