Description:
Graphical desktop(KDE)does not start any longer after upgrading to nvidia-utils-495.44-6; apparently only fix is reverting to version 495.44-5 of the same package. Xorg.0.log reports: (EE) dbus-core: error connecting to system bus: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply (Did not receive a reply . Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the repl y, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.) Thank you. Reason for closing: Fixed
Additional comments about closing: I will consider this fixed as there's been no recent reports and also it's kind of old and the driver version has moved on a lot.

This change in particular broke it for me:
https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commit/15f9d1590baf814fec431e13f12ebbc94d42079f#diff-3e341d2d9c67be01819b25b25d5e53ea3cdf3a38d28846cda85a195eb9b7203a
by creating the 'blacklist nouveau' in modprobe.d
I solved it by removing the nvidia-utils package (quick fix is to delete the file in modprobe.d)
