Some apps have severe screen tearing issues with menu and transitions after mesa upgrade from 21.1.6. My solution so far has been to downgrade to 21.1.6, but now I have issues with Zoom, being unable to see or share video within the app (which I use for work). Installing mesa-git from AUR solved the issues Additional info: * package version(s): All after 21.1.6, except current devel ver on AUR * config and/or log files etc: Default * link to upstream bug report, if any https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/5231 Steps to reproduce: * upgrade to ANY mesa after 21.1.6 * start X * On i3, open a Qt based app (Spyder IDE is my workhorse) * Cry because the screen tearing issues made the app unusable |
