Details

On my wife's X session when she tries to close evolution, it greys itself out and just sits there, and eats 100% of my CPU

strace doesn't show anything useful.. How should I go about debugging this?

Just saw this, may be the culprit.. May have been generated in the time she left it open before killing it?

Saw it stall my backup script.. And I know she hasn't written that much mail ;)

I launched her evolution again and tried to close it after removing this file.. It came back and started growing huge again..

Perhaps something is looping inside it.. Hm

Ideas?

Can you still reproduce it after the last evolution updates? I can't reproduce this.
Could you run strace against the evolution-data-server or evolution process while it is eating 100% CPU?
