Details

Perf includes support for a GTK2 GUI, but the Arch package isn't built with support for this for some reason.

I think that the required steps are:

* add gtk2 to makedepends and optdepends
* add GTK2=1 param to make call

This is perf 5.15

Additional comments about closing:  GTK 2 is end-of-life, and a patch adding support for GTK 3 has not been merged. Feel free to request this issue to be reopened if this changes.

gtk2 support was removed in perf 5.10-2 [1] as it is EOL [2].

There was a patch for gtk3 [1] support but it has not been merged.
