Description:
In the default kernel CONFIG_PREEMPT is true, which reduces latency at expense of throughput. But in the LTS kernel this is not enabled. Can this be enabled in the LTS kernel too? This is useful for games and audio, I've heard it is a good default for desktop usage. Additional comments about closing: lts kernel is not targeted to gamers and audio. it had its roots for server usage.
