Description:

With pipewire evolving, the package here needs to consider that there are other media-session managers out there with the prime example of wireplumber. The dependency on pipewire-media-session makes it impossible to use wireplumber.

I think this needs discussion between maintainers of pipewire based packages. Another, potentially related bug is here  FS#72219

Additional info:
* version: 0.4.0-2

Steps to reproduce:

With existing install of wireplumber this package brings the dependencies into deadlock.

what package are you talking about? there are no packages in our repos that harddepend on pipewire-media-session

Probably means pipewire-session-manager, but wireplumber provides that anyway, so is a non-issue.

Apologies was on the run and forgot to mention:

xdg-desktop-portal-wlr

Which does:

Depends On : xdg-desktop-portal pipewire pipewire-session-manager
libinih

pipewire-session-manager != pipewire-media-session. Both pipewire-media-session and wireplumber provide that.
