Description:
Nvidia seems to have split their release into two new versions: 1. Current new feature branch release: 495.44 2. Current production branch release: 470.82.00 (which they now also list as a (supported) legacy release Thus I would like to request to also package this second branch, as the main branch will probably move to 495.44 (if I am not mistaken). As an owner of a Kepler GPU, I'll have to stick with the 470.xx branch.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Although my GPU is really old and has been acting up lately, so it could die at any moment now! :)
Nevertheless, I suppose the main concern is dealing with the package breaking upon kernel upgrades, right? Coding-wise, I won't be able to help, at all.
I have two laptops with GTX 765M and GTX 770M and a desktop with GTX 770.
For the moment I switched to Jonathon packages (thank you) and everything looks good, so using the AUR is also a viable option for me.
Thx @Jonathon.
Only remaining question is, will you support this long-term?
I'm using X11 + KDE on 3 systems with Kepler GPUs.
Thanks again for picking this up Jonathon.
