Description:
Often when running pacman -Syu and when there are multiple packages, the update to roundcubemail gets lost unnoticed. However it is important to run /usr/share/webapps/roundcubemail/bin/update.sh after roundcubemail is updated, so that database schema are updated as per new version. https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/blob/master/UPGRADING#L67 I would suggest a post upgrade note via an install file so that administrators dont forget to run update.sh script after roundcubemail is upgraded. Something similar to what postgresql update does. https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/blob/packages/postgresql/trunk/postgresql.install Thank you. |

To update just the database the command would be:
/usr/share/webapps/roundcubemail/bin/updatedb.sh --package=roundcube --dir=SQL
https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/blob/master/UPGRADING#L102
So post install note can mention both the methods and administrator can choose the one that fits their scenario.
