Description:
Upstream fiddled around with the Makefiles to make it more compliant with a spec. See https://github.com/dunst-project/dunst/pull/917
As sysconfdir doesn't seem to be set in the PKGBUILD, it will place the dunstrc into $PREFIX/etc, which results in /usr/etc/xdg/dunst.

Settings $SYSCONFDIR should fix this.

Steps to reproduce:
Install dunst 1.7.0-1 and look where the files are installed.

Of course, after sending this I notice the title is somewhat ambiguous.
Just to make sure: I don't want to advocate to install the files into the named location :D It is what currently happens and should be changed to the previous default of /etc/xdg/

I have a slight fever and spotted this in the build output. I should have figured out it was wrong :(

This has not been fixed, dunst-1.7.0-1 still installs the config to /usr/etc/xdg/dunst/dunstrc instead of /etc/xdg/dunst/dunstrc which is the correct location. I think Foxboron misunderstood the title :-)

No, I did actually fix it yesterday and then hit a bug in my tooling which resulted in the package not being pushed. I then forgot about it 5 mins later and thought I had fixed it :) I'm still blaming my fever on this!
