its about USB c cable that worked on windows 7 and 10 but not on linux ( endeavour os
i report here because i dont know where else.
i used programm called gnirehtet for using internet on phone from pc using usb cable.
so i switched to endeavour os from win 7 to win10(where gnirehtet worked almost perfectly on them) and installed gnirehtet 2.5 and it worked barely first time(many restarts needed), then it stoped working and adb command: adb devices showed phone always offline, so i spend days of real time trying figureing it out why not working and came up with this reading and trying for many hours.

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/30964854/android-studio-device-is-connected-but-offline

after getting almost mad by trying all the recommendations there what to do, found out that short usb c cable that came with phone for charging worked immediatly. and so i can use gnirehtet again

this is the cable which i talking about:

sorry for trouble but this issua almsot drove me so mad that i almost wanted to switch back to windows since is very important for me use internet on phone through cable..
why it worked on win 7 and win10 its mystery to me thats why i report here, really sry if its wrong place, its first time reporting bug ever for linux
