Description:
Cycles renderer Ray visibility options don't do anything in 2.93.4-3 build. I tried to find if it is upstream problem, but it seems it's not. Please see these reports: https://developer.blender.org/T89206 https://www.reddit.com/r/blenderhelp/comments/o2lmzf/blender_293_archmanjaro_users_here_need_help_ray/ Also, I couldn't find anything in PKGBUILD or patches which could be responsible for the bug. Steps to reproduce: 1) Create basic project with a cube 2) Switch to Cycles renderer 3) Go to Object's Options and unchect "Camera" in "Ray Visibility" group 4) Render The cube should be invisible in the render since camera rays are off, but it's not. All Ray Visibility options don't have any effect. Only when all options are disables, the object disappears. |
