Interestingly sndio=1.7.0-3 provides libsndio.so=7.1-64 while libsndio.so=7-64 provides an older version? (libsndio.so=7-64)

So maybe a bug with the sndio package?

Looks like the old sndio didn't set a proper soversion so the libversion was used as soversion. This has been fixed in the latest version and now it has a real soversion.
