DetailsDescription:
according to homepage[1], there are two "version" of the driver or better two "build types" laying on their words: - a Full Feature Build, which is default driver build, which supports all feature by hardware accelerator and close source shaders(media kernel binaries). - a Free Kernel Build, which enables fully open source shaders(media kernels) and hardware features but the features would be limited. So, two building (different features exposed) -> two packages. Now, reading our package description "Intel Media Driver for VAAPI — Broadwell+ iGPUs" the information about build type is totally absent. I suggest to add this information in (at the end of) the package description. --- [1] https://github.com/intel/media-driver/ |

Reason for closing: Won't fix
Additional comments about closing: This is Arch, we do non-free stuff when it matters. However you could advise Parabola that their build is thus non-free.
