I've tried:
using external usb cardreader using internal laptop cardreader having it automount using gnome-volume-manager mounting it manually (g-v-m disabled) Still results in a 250MB usable space. The card works perfectly in Windows and my PDA. Packages installed: udev 111-1 gnome-volume-manager 2.17.0-2 I have attached images that show gnome's properties of the drive as well as dmeg and lsmod output. |

Try checking the card with some filesystem check utility (there's
one in dosfstools). I guess the reported size for the card is
incorrect.

Yeah it works now. I had the card formatted with gparted and it
works now. Thanks!
