Description:
the newest version of blender from the repo does not start, as there is the an old version of libOpenEXR in the dependency list? Seems to need libOpenEXR-3_0 whereas openexr3.1.1 from the repo comes with libOpenEXR3_1 Additional info: * package version(s) blender 2.93.4 * config and/or log files etc. [manoca@IT-MOB-MANOCA ~]$ blender blender: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenEXR-3_0.so.28: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [manoca@IT-MOB-MANOCA ~]$ sudo pacman -Ss blender community/blender 17:2.93.4-2 [installed] A fully integrated 3D graphics creation suite [manoca@IT-MOB-MANOCA ~]$ sudo pacman -Ss openexr world/openexr 3.1.1-1 [installed] A high dynamic-range image file format library extra/openexr 3.1.1-1 [installed] A high dynamic-range image file format library [manoca@IT-MOB-MANOCA ~]$ ls -ll /usr/lib/libOpenEXR.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Aug 3 10:11 /usr/lib/libOpenEXR.so -> libOpenEXR-3_1.so * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: install blender from community repo. start blender |
