Description:
mate-netspeed-applet does not indicate any transfers on wifi/wireless device regardless if "Netowrk device:" is set to "Default" or the actual device name from the drop-down list.
It only works if a wired connection is available / plugged in (RJ45)

Additional info:
* package version(s): 1.26.0 (was woking on 1.24)
* config and/or log files etc.
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Steps to reproduce:
Initiate a connection / transfer to be visible on mate-netspeed-applet via a wireless device and observe if any traffic is reported on the applet. Wired connection must be disabled, or cable unplugged, because it works on wired connection.
