but it seems like arch also hasn't got the fix rolled out yet, since my laptop is still having no sound. |

just following up still broken on the latest kernel.
Most of the time this works as expected, but once a month or so an
update to sof-firmware breaks it. From dmesg it can be read that
the firmwares ABI gets out of sync with the kernels. Usually a
downgrade to the lateste firmware compatible version of
sof-firmware fixes it, this time (as of December 12) around that
doesn't work though.
