DetailsSince Linux 5.2 there is a sysfs interface to set the energy-performance bias of Intel CPUs[1], and since version 1.3.0 tlp uses this interface instead of the x86_energy_perf_policy executable whenever possible[2]. There is no kernel < 5.2 in the Arch repos, so this optional dependency can be dropped.
