Details

Since python2 will be removed in the future, can this package be replaced with offlineimap3 (https://github.com/OfflineIMAP/offlineimap3)
Also the official offlineimap (https://github.com/OfflineIMAP/offlineimap) recommends to use offlineimap3.

I definitely plan to update to a python3 version once it will be released and available.
Feel free to let me know once it happens should I miss the announcement.
I'll be closing this case for now as there is not much more to do than to wait if they come up with an official release.
