Description:

Ever since Manjaro delivered the update to Mate 1.26 downstream from Arch, on my system wnck-applet (contained in mate-panel 1.26.0-1) has begun to crash randomly, with a dialogue appearing that suggests to reload it.

Mate bug reporting requires a downstream report to the distro before submitting a report to them. Since the Mate packages used by Manjaro are maintained by Arch, I'm reporting this here. I hope this is correct.

Steps to reproduce:

This occurs intermittently, but if it happens it seems to be correlated with opening/closing of windows or browser tabs, or with changing the focus of windows.
