Description:

speech options in this program rely on espeak - a speech synthesizer, not espeakup - a client for espeak speech synthesizer that only works in the linux console.

espeak or espeak-ng? Tried to glance quickly at it upstream, but couldn’t find any reference. I inherited this from a very old commit apparently: https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-community/commit/1e073e6f1398f0090d7ac2fa22c1f810f3bbeb67

since we trying to get rid of espeak in the repository[1], it would be cool if you could switch the package to use espeak-ng.
