Hi Judd,

Next time you update the kernel, can you add the kernel module for Dell Inspiron support into the 2.6 kernel? You used to have it there for the 2.4 series.

I used to include support for the various laptop brands, but they would sometimes freeze other laptop machines (mostly my own personal experience). One of my thinkpads would freeze if I added Dell laptop support.

I can try again with 2.6, but that's why I've left it out in the past.

Well, for the Dell Laptop, it could be added as a kernel module and that shouldn't cause any conflicts. Although, if it does cause you pain, by all means, leave it out! I can always build my own kernel with abs.
