DetailsThe removal of the `python-sortedcontainers` dependency in the latest PKGBUILD can cause breakage because the pdfminer package itself still thinks it requires sortedcontainers (see `/usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pdfminer.six-20201018-py3.9.egg-info/requires.txt` after installing the package.
Either the dependency should be re-added, or the upstream patch that [actually removes the dependency](https://github.com/pdfminer/pdfminer.six/pull/525/) should be incorporated. This issue was identified in [the comments of the OCRmyPDF AUR package](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ocrmypdf/#news). |
