DetailsI use gtk+ in a xfce environment. After upgrading to gtk2 2.10.12, the open gtk+ dialog appears nearly fullscreen - presumably because I have some long filenames in my home directory? It's pretty annoying, and it doesn't save the size for future cases if I resize it smaller. Previous versions of gtk+ acted much nicer.

Won't fix this unless there's a better fix provided upstream. I'll expect gtk 2.10.13 to have this whole issue fixed, removing any need for the patch. It's either a nearly-maximized window in XFCE/KDE/GNOME, or a constantly flipping filechooser window in other windowmanagers for now. I'll choose to have the 2nd fixed instead for now.
