Cannot confirm. Works fine here. gnome + beryl-git from unstable + nvidia (no Xgl nor aiglx)
BTW, JGC, could you please add post_install message about optional deps required for 3D chessboard?

The game itself asks for those packages when trying to switch to 3D mode, a pacman -Ss operation will find them easily.

For the crash, I can't reproduce it on my laptop with xorg-server-1.3.0, xf86-video-intel 2.0.0 and beryl, not even after losing the game from the AI ;)

mh thats strange.. i tried it i couple of times under different circumstances. even without beryl running it crashes. but only if i exit it while the pc is calculating a move. if a game is finished it quites fine.

my CPU calculates a move very fast, even on 50% of frequency, so I cannot check it :)
I guess we cannot do much with that bug.
Just exit while it's your turn.

I could reproduce this on my laptop with gnome-games 2.19.2: when I win the game (CPU set to easy), I get thrown to gdm. When I lose the game, I win because the other player disconnected :P
