Hello,
Since several weeks or months, I noticed the descriptions in http(s)://aur.archlinux.org/rss.php have disappeared.
When you open the raw stream, yan can see that the XML description tag is here but empty.
The main packages RSSes, such as https://www.archlinux.org/feeds/packages/, are fine.
This task depends upon

The last time `live` branch rss.php was touched was on "Sat May 12 13:35:11 2018 +0200," and it does indeed seem problematic on live.

We've discovered some commits which found their way into `master` which address a few issues, fixing the RSS feed. However, as you state, there are no descriptions present; there is an element, the element's content is empty: `<description />`.

This has however been the case since the date mentioned above (or before), which is over two years ago. We'll create a GitLab issue for the `<description />` issue in the PHP implementation. Changes in `master` that fix the RSS feed issues have been pushed to `live`. Production at aur.archlinux.org will be updated within a day or two.

Thanks for reporting this, Fabien! I'll post another comment with the GitLab issue when it's been established.

Thanks @hashworks for the fixes there :)
