DetailsDescription:
pkgfile ships with a systemd timer to periodically (weekly) sync the database. FR: It would be natural for `pacman -Fy` to follow suit. I am attaching a patch that does so. The patch is heavily based on pkgfile and paccache timers, and it merely runs `pacman -Fy` to keep the DB up-to-date for `pacman -F <pkg>`. Additional info: * package version(s): 1.4.0-4 * BBS discussion: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=267668 Note: Filing a FR as per Trilby's suggestion on the forums. Previously I sent a patch directly to the current maintainer via `git sent-email` but didn't get a response. Hopefully a FR gets noticed more prominently.
