Details

The torrent image available contains a lot of webseed but no tracker.
This confuses rtorrent but also seems to impact on other torrent clients;
I could not find any explanation for the lack of tracker but i could find some post of people having issues with it

@lesto: Thanks for the report.

Arch Linux does not run a tracker anymore [1] as DHT and webseeds deemed enough for it to work.
It seems this setup works fine with other torrent clients e.g. transmission.

Could you describe what is the specific issue with rtorrent? It would also be helpful to e.g. link to upstream tickets irt this topic (if any). The assertion "people having issues with it" is unfortunately a bit too vague to make any judgements based upon it. Could you provide links please? :)

Trackerless torrents are perfectly valid and work fine with other BitTorrent clients.
