DetailsIf I do not have opensc installed, I see the daemon trying to find /usr/lib64/opensc-pkcs11.so but reporting an error due to it missing. The daemon still runs so I think this should be called out as an optdepends.
Additional info: * package version(s) 6.13-1 Something like the following could be a good addition: optdepends=('opensc: gather entropy from smart card readers via openssl engine') |

opensc has been in optdepends for a while. I am still going to change the description of the dependency to make it clearer, but this bug report is invalid

you can also add "-x pkcs11" to RNGD_OPTS in "/etc/conf.d/rngd" to tell rngd to not even try to use that entropy source
