Hi,

in kernel26 many framebuffer drivers are build in. But one is missing: viafb.
If there is no special reason for leaving out, it would be nice to itegrate it.
It is needed espcially for VIA EPIA. But also on P III platform with VIA graphics.

viafb is not available in menuconfig

Hi,

viafb needs to be patched into the kernel.
The source ist available from www.directfb.org.
It is kept in the linux-viafb directory in the DirectFB CVS repository.
The patch compiles without any problems with 2.6.21.1 kernel.
