Latest driver known to work with DisplayPort is 460.73.01 https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/can-no-longer-run-linux-using-nvidia-drivers/179889 Also highest refresh rate for mesa drive with DisplayPort is 120HZ and using HDMI gives native 144HZ in my case Its a shame how nvidia tests their drivers when 1070 has 3 DP and only one HDMI |

Sorry, nothing to do here for us since it's a binary blob driver and it didn't sound like a packaging problem.
