Description:
Pacman supports split packages. I believe that having different parts of boost be split using this system would be beneficial as it makes it so that you don't need to download & install the entire massive boost package for a single dependency and are able to just selectively install the parts that you require. Other notable distros have been using split boost packages for a long time: Debian, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE & prolly more. |

The boost package is development only, the boost-libs package
which end users install as a dependency is only 9.72 MiB
