With mtools 4.0.28, mkarchiso (using the default releng profile) fails with the following errors:

::/EFI/BOOT/BOOTx64.EFI: no match for target
Bad target ::/EFI/BOOT/BOOTx64.EFI

Downgrading mtools to 4.0.27 may workaround this issue.

This is actually a regression in mtools [1] and I am about to downgrade the package.
